 ZoK's Perspective 30th March 2010 by sundae After a great fall in the rankings for the recent GameFest 2010, we approached team captain Augustine'ZoK' Mah from SWL.aBuse for an interview over Xfire to find out what happened.
s u n d a e: How are you feeling about the results of the tournament (GameFest 2010), resulting in 5th compared to being 2nd in the recent CC7?
[SWL]*ZoK: We were quite disappointed with our performance. s u n d a e: What exactly happened in the map of Crossfire against coop.MY? What do you think are the vital mistakes made in the match? [SWL]*ZoK: They played very well in this tournament, no doubt bout it. Their strategy totally worked on us. We were quite messed up with our positions and play roles. s u n d a e: Did the absence of Xion and the replacement of Strayfer affected this? [SWL]*ZoK: In my point of view, I think that Xion is our main firepower in crossfire, without him we have to restructure our play roles. Our attacking strategy are all messed up without him. s u n d a e: Having said that, has Strayfer made any firm decisions on being permanent in aBuse's line up? [SWL]*ZoK: Yes. He has been looking forward to join us s u n d a e: Last but not least, what expectations can we have for SWL aBuse in the next tournament? Will your team be buckling up heavily on preparations for it? [SWL]*ZoK: Oh yes of course. This is not gonna happen for us again because it is a really dissapointing performance in this tournament. Seems like they have to make some good adjustments and familiarity of roles for the next tournament in order to cope with the teamwork from the other teams, especially of the uprising coop. We'll have to wait to find out how will SWL aBuse will restructure their roles accordingly to each player's strength and see will they make it for podium positions next time!
